Based out of Boston, MA, the Lahari group has been performing in the New England / New York area for over 6 years. We are a music group providing a wide range of foot tapping music from classic to contemporary times of Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu movies. The members of our group have one thing in common - we all love music.
We have performed at several concerts sponsored by organizations like New York Kannada Koota, New England Kannada Koota, Indian Association of Greater Boston and many more.
Our vocalists include Madhusudhan Akkihebbal, Jayanth Kananur, Satish Bhat, Padmini Narayan, Shobha Hiremath and Sumana Bhat. Our instrumentalists include Satish Bhat on the keyboard and guitar, Sudhir Srinivasan on lead and rhythm guitar, Bharath Lagu on tabla and dholak, Sandesh Bhat on drums, tabla, percussion.
